Puerto Penasco, better
known as Rocky Point, originated as a small fishing village in the
1920's and gradually developed into one of the major shrimp producing
areas in the Sea of Cortez. This town of approximately 30,000 people
has very unique ocean conditions which create extreme tide swings
of up to 23 feet between high and low tide. The pristine Sea of Cortez
offers all visitors the opportunity to see porpoise, sea lions, whales,
pelicans and a wide array of marine life.
Along the miles of white sandy beaches, Realty Networks properties' offer you the perfect setting for watching the sunrise and the sunset on the same horizon. As remote as it may seem you are only 2-3 miles from dining, shopping and the fun times that Puerto Penasco has to offer. |
